These projects, with budgets up to £10 million, play a vital role in ensuring sustainable and resilient water services for our customers.You’ll work across a range of complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing delivery from early planning through to completion. This is a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact.**What you will be responsible for:*** Leading projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met* Developing and maintaining robust project plans, schedules and milestones* Coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure aligned delivery* Managing risks, issues and dependencies to support successful project outcomes* Delivering clear and accurate project reporting and forecasts* Building strong relationships with stakeholders to support collaboration and decision-making* Supporting programme-level planning alongside Senior Project Managers and Programme Managers**Additional requirements specific to the role:*** Hybrid role with travel across sites and project locations* Occasional site visits to support delivery and compliance**What you’ll bring to the role:*****Essential**** Proven experience delivering infrastructure, utilities or construction projects* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills* Experience managing project risks, budgets and schedules* Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive delivery outcomes* Understanding of health & safety requirements within a project environment***Desirable**** Experience within the water or regulated utilities sector* Understanding of project delivery within AMP cycles* Knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4)* Relevant qualification in project management (e.g. APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent)**About Southern Water**Southern Water is at the forefront of transforming Britain’s water industry, investing significantly to enhance resilience, sustainability, and service excellence.
