Service Vehicle Technician Required in Billingshurst For Family Run Dealership
Pay: Starting from £37,000
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with breaks

Our client, a reputable family-run dealership in Billingshurst, is seeking a skilled Service Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Duties:
8. Conduct scheduled service maintenance and inspections on motor vehicles and commercial vehicles
9. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
10. Complete fault-finding and diagnostics using various software platforms and understanding of wiring diagrams
11. Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and pre-owned vehicles
12. Perform repairs and servicing on ATV’s, off-road, and on-road equipment
13. Promote dealership services and products to customers effectively
14. Attend manufacturer training courses to stay updated with latest vehicle technologies
15. Assist with tyre replacements and wheel alignments
16. Complete detailed job cards and work orders efficiently
17. Maintain workshop standards and uphold safety protocols
18. Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices
Requirements:
19. Proven experience working as a Service Vehicle Technician or similar role
20. Technical skills in diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing
21. Familiarity with commercial and passenger vehicles, including off-road equipment
22. Own tooling preferred; special tools supplied along with PPE
23. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
24. Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
25. Able to work flexibly, including potential shift patterns and occasional out-of-hours support
26. Knowledge or experience of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) advantageous
27. Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to learning and development
