Our client, a well-established and highly respected legal 500 practice, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor who is ready to take the next step in their career. The Role
1. Reviewing and reporting on registered freehold and leasehold titles for clients and lenders
2. Handling unregistered land matters, including reviewing or preparing epitomes of title and conducting land charges searches
3. Requesting and carrying out initial analysis of property searches
4. Preparing and reviewing responses to CPSE enquiries for a range of transactions
5. Raising and addressing further enquiries in relation to title, searches and general due-diligence issues
6. Producing clear title, search and documentation reports for clients
7. Providing property input on corporate transactions
8. Preparing for and managing the completion process
9. Undertaking post-completion formalities and checking completion statements
10. Drafting commercial leases, contracts, agreements for lease and rent deposit deeds
11. Managing straightforward freehold acquisitions and disposals
12. Assisting with other commercial property matters such as secured lending, easements, licences, lease surrenders and development work
About You
13. A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1–2 years’ PQE
14. Highly organised with strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
15. Comfortable managing your own workload under supervision while contributing effectively to a team
16. Commercially aware and proactive in identifying practical solutions
17. Confident using Microsoft Office and legal case-management software
18. Keen to build strong client relationships and play a part in the ongoing success of the wider team
