Modern Packaging are the market leaders in manufacturing paper laminates, printed and plain flexible solutions to the retail and food service sectors.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our successful team at Modern Packaging.
Your main purpose is to actively seek out and obtain new customers while driving sales growth by identifying and acquiring new business, managing client relationships and preparing commercial offers that meet the customers' requirements in line with the business
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to -
· Responsible for new business development
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand our company's customer base and solidify its presence and support our company positioning within the industry
· Achieving growth and hitting sales targets
· Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations
· Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics
· Providing daily reports of sales success and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to Business Head
· Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle and delivering 5-star sales experience
· Responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports
· Ensure that all individual and key performance target objectives are met
· Keep informed of industry trends and competitor news and activities
. Evaluate performance and effectiveness of activities executed, creating a practice for continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of sales within the flexible packaging industry. You will be already be operating successfully as a sales manager with over 6 years' experience. You should possess good negotiation skills, commercial mind-set the ability to present and influence at all levels with a good record of sales achievement.

You must be a self-starter, target driven who thrives on a challenge
Previous experience within a flexible packaging industry
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Good time management and planning skills
A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays when required
