Summary of Our Role
We’re looking for a visionary Head of Design to lead our multidisciplinary creative team. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity of our campaigns, mentoring talent, and pushing the boundaries of design in a regulated healthcare environment. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to deliver work that is not only beautiful but also effective, inclusive, and strategically aligned.
This is a full-time permanent role and our current hybrid working arrangement is two days from home. Our office is located in Kings Cross.
What You Can Expect to Be Doing:
* Setting bold, inspiring creative direction across digital, print, experiential, and emerging platforms (AR/VR, voice).
* Translating complex medical narratives into accessible, emotionally resonant visual systems.
* Mentoring and developing a diverse team of designers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
* Collaborating with strategy, copy, digital, and client services to deliver integrated campaigns.
* Leading design for pitches, award submissions, and high-impact client presentations.
* Embedding inclusive, sustainable, and data-informed design principles across all touchpoints.
* Navigating healthcare regulations (e.g., ABPI, FDA, EMA) while maintaining creative excellence.
* Driving operational excellence by managing resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.

* You have 5–7 years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Designer, ideally in healthcare communications.
* You’re passionate about mentoring and shaping the careers of creative professionals.
* You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and love solving complex design challenges.
* You’re fluent in tools like Adobe CC, Figma, Cinema 4D, and have a strong grasp of UI/UX, typography, branding, and motion design.
* You’re excited by innovation—whether it’s experimenting with AI, exploring new media formats, or rethinking how we tell stories in healthcare.
* You’re a confident communicator who can inspire clients and colleagues alike with your vision and clarity.
