We are seeking a passionate and creative Media Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving Secondary School in Chelmsford, Essex. If you have a strong background in media studies and a genuine desire to inspire young minds, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in media studies across Key Stage 3 and 4.
* Develop students’ understanding of media theory, practical skills, and creative expression.
* Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and department initiatives.
About You
* A qualified teacher with a relevant degree (Media Studies, Film, Journalism).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for media and the arts.
* Experience teaching media studies at the secondary level (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students, helping them achieve their full potential.
