Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and fast-paced SME within the reactive maintenance industry.
Working alongside a part-time colleague and reporting directly to the Director, this role is crucial in supporting the day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth coordination between office functions and field engineers.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a busy environment, delivering excellent administrative and customer service support.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle incoming calls and emails, recording details of blockages and customer requirements
* Prepare and issue quotes; follow up with customers to confirm bookings
* Coordinate job details and dispatch to relevant engineers
* Support engineers with documentation, job card management, and payment tracking
* Issue invoices where required and maintain accurate customer records
* Utilise Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, WhatsApp chat, and Dropbox to manage daily operations
* Monitor and manage online enquiry streams to avoid missed jobs
* Provide general administrative support to the Director and wider team
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in an administrative or office-based role, ideally within a service or trades environment
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and file sharing platforms
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
* Confident, proactive, and able to manage a busy workload
Offering
* Full-time, permanent, based in Paisley
* Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
* £27,000 annual salary
* 28 days holiday (including public holidays)
