Diverse Student Group – Over 300 students with complex and medical needs, including non-verbal and wheelchair-dependent students. Holistic Approach – Emphasis on a well-rounded approach to learning, incorporating Lego therapy, yoga, and other holistic strategies. Age Range – Working with children aged 5-11 years, offering a mixed provision to cater to individual needs. Autism-Specific Support – Tailored support for students on the autism spectrum.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group support for students with a wide range of complex needs. Assist with medical needs, including medication administration and first aid. Support students in engaging with their learning using therapeutic approaches such as Lego Therapy and yoga. Promote independence and confidence among students with various physical and emotional challenges. Foster an inclusive environment where every child feels supported, respected, and encouraged.Your Skills & Experience: Background in medical or residential care, ideally with experience working with children. First Aid trained, with knowledge of handling medical needs and emergencies. Experience in medication administration and supporting psychotherapy practices. Passionate about supporting children with autism, SEMH, and complex needs. Knowledge of diverse teaching strategies, including a holistic approach to learning.
