Salary: up to £53,200 (FTE) (dependent on experience) plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £2,500 after one month and another £2,500 after completing your probation period). T&C's apply.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm

About the role
Upton Grange seeks an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approach to support our pupils' daily lives—ensuring their safety, comfort, and occupational and sensory needs are met. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing bespoke interventions, and preparing documentation such as reports and sensory profiles. You will also provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.
You will work within our well-established, supportive multidisciplinary team—including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants—to create an environment where pupils can thrive, learn, and develop. An integrated approach to care, education, and clinical services is ideal for this role.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
* Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons)
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* Knowledge of Sensory Integration or sensory regulation approaches
* Experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including complex trauma, mental health needs, or challenging behaviors
* Ability to collaborate with key partners
* Sensitivity and conflict resolution skills
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
