The Body Shop is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving store and team performance to deliver retail excellence and strong sales results. The role requires enthusiasm for the brand and belief in the way we do business.
More About The Role
Customer Experience - Coach the team to achieve exceptional customer service standards in partnership with the store manager. Oversee front and back of house operations to maintain harmony and efficiency on the shop floor. Lead a customer-focused store experience daily and help develop consumer loyalty and awareness to strengthen The Body Shop brand.
Delivery - Retail beauty knowledge is desirable. Ability to learn and use internal systems and analyse performance to manage the store’s commercial aspects. Monitor and manage change in a dynamic retail environment. Help control and meet sales targets. Demonstrate strong relationship skills coordinating between customers, the team and the manager. Maintain knowledge of the beauty market, competitors and a passion for our products.
Teamwork and People Management - People are at the heart of our business. Be a team player, assist the Store Manager, resolve issues quickly, and attract, retain and develop people who reflect the brand.
What We Look For
* Experience in a customer service and/or beauty environment with sales and service targets
* Working knowledge of shop operation processes
* Proven ability to drive sales by leading and motivating a team
* Ability to solve problems in a timely manner
* Flexible availability including holidays, nights and weekends
* Good IT skills
* Strong communication and operational skills
* Flexibility to work across Sunday to Saturday
