About the Role:
As
Pastry Chef de Partie
, you will play a key role in creating and executing exceptional desserts and pastries that complement the refined Japanese menu. You'll work alongside a skilled kitchen team to craft innovative, beautifully presented plates that embody precision, flavour, and artistry. This is a rare chance to influence the pastry offering from day one of the restaurant's journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and service of high-quality desserts and pastries with consistency and creativity.
* Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to execute the menu and develop new concepts.
* Maintain a highly organized and efficient pastry section.
* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently upheld.
* Support the training and development of junior pastry team members.
What We're Looking For:
* Strong background in fine dining pastry, with an eye for detail and presentation.
* A passion for Japanese flavours, aesthetics, and techniques (experience in Japanese pastry not essential).
