About The Role As Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing large electrical projects from planning through to completion. You’ll ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve managing project teams, coordinating resources, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations — particularly within medical and specialist environments. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage large electrical projects from pre-construction through to final handover. Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and programme management. Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and industry standards. Apply knowledge of electrical requirements within medical environments, ensuring full compliance. Manage budgets, monitor costs, and identify efficiencies where possible. Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships. Work closely with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of materials. Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure safe and efficient delivery. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including RAMS and risk assessments. Provide regular progress reports to senior management. What We Are Looking For Proven experience managing large electrical projects. Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and compliance standards. Experience or understanding of electrical requirements within medical environments. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong commercial awareness and budgeting experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Full UK driving licence.
