School Minibus Driver (Part-Time, Term-Time Only) A well-established independent school in Northamptonshire is seeking a reliable and responsible School Minibus Driver to join our friendly and supportive team. Position Details Role: School Minibus Driver Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 25 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (split shift – morning and afternoon school runs) Location: Northampton Start Date: Asap Salary: £15 per hour Key Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle Promote and ensure safe, respectful behaviour while students are on board Complete required driving and safety documentation Requirements Valid UK driving licence (Category D1 preferred) Clean driving record Previous professional driving experience (school or community transport desirable) Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Friendly, calm, and professional manner Punctual, responsible, and dependable What We Offer Competitive hourly rate Term-time only working pattern Supportive and welcoming school environment Training and development opportunities The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
