We’re looking for a proactive, hands‑on Marketing Manager to play a key role in delivering day‑to‑day marketing activity across two busy automotive dealerships.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of marketing, from creating social media content and supporting campaigns to organising events and working closely with the sales team. It’s a varied, fast‑paced position where you’ll help ensure marketing activity runs smoothly and consistently.

You’ll work closely with management, internal teams, and external partners to deliver campaigns that generate enquiries, support customer retention, and build strong local awareness. You’ll also gain experience working alongside some of the UK’s leading vehicle manufacturers including Kia, Ford, Volvo, Citroën, and Peugeot.

Job Purpose

To manage and coordinate marketing and communication activity for new and used vehicle sales and aftersales, supporting the achievement of agreed business objectives and delivering consistent enquiry generation.


Key Responsibilities


Day-to-Day Marketing Activity

* Support the planning and delivery of marketing activity across both dealerships
* Assist with monthly and quarterly campaigns to meet business objectives
* Ensure all marketing channels are active, up-to-date, and aligned


Lead Generation & CRM

* Generate enquiries for new cars, used cars, and aftersales
* Support CRM activity, including email campaigns and customer communications
* Assist with audience selection, targeting, and database management
* Support customer retention initiatives and follow-up activity
* Liaise with operational and lead generation partners to ensure effective delivery and lead follow-up processes across sites


Social Media & Content

* Create and schedule regular content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
* Develop engaging content including images, videos, captions, and basic graphics
* Write blog articles and website content to support SEO and campaigns
* Adapt content across platforms to maximise reach and engagement
* Assist in creating and managing paid social media campaigns for awareness, traffic, and lead generation


Website & Digital Channels

* Keep dealership websites up to date with accurate and relevant content
* Upload and manage offers, blog posts, and vehicle promotions
* Support digital advertising activity and liaise with external partners for PPC, Vehicle Listing Ads, Performance Max, etc.
* Monitor performance metrics and suggest optimisations


Events & Local Marketing

* Support the organisation of dealership events and local promotions
* Assist with off-site activity such as vehicle displays and community events
* Help coordinate event setup, materials, and follow-up


Advertising & PR

* Coordinate advertising activity with external partners and suppliers
* Assist with booking and managing local advertising
* Support the creation of adverts and promotional materials
* Help with press releases and local awareness activity
* Ensure all advertising and marketing activity complies with brand standards


Internal Support

* Work closely with sales and aftersales teams to support their objectives
* Assist management with marketing-related tasks and reporting
* Support showroom presentation and marketing materials where needed


Customer Experience

* Monitor customer feedback and online reviews
* Support responses to customer enquiries and complaints where required
* Help identify opportunities to improve the customer journey

Organised & Reliable – Able to manage multiple tasks and keep marketing activity running consistently

Creative & Practical – Comfortable creating content and bringing ideas to life efficiently

Strong Communicator – Confident writing and communicating across different platforms and audiences

Team Player – Works well with colleagues across departments and supports wider business goals

Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy across all marketing materials and communications

Willing to Learn – Open to developing skills across different areas of marketing
