We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor with strong literacy and numeracy skills and a professional approach to work under the guidance of teaching staff, to support pupils in and out of the classroom, including the supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake administrative duties, and support breakfast, break and lunchtime duties in school. You will have:
* GCSE Maths and GCSE English (Level 4 and above)
* An appropriate level 3 qualification
* Confident and competent in using day-to-day IT
* Experience of working in a school environment
* Confident in delivering prepared lessons
* The ability to motivate pupils and a desire to make a positive contribution to their education
* The ability to manage challenging behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
* A commitment to the ethos of the school
We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in English or Maths.
