An exciting opportunity has arisen within the electrical wholesale / hazardous area equipment industry for a driven and proactive Internal Account Manager to join a growing and well-established business.
This role sits at the heart of the sales operation - perfect for someone who enjoys managing customer relationships, driving sales performance, and working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts while supporting the wider sales function. This is a highly dynamic position where you'll coordinate the sales process end-to-end and play a key role in helping the business achieve its targets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing sales quotations, orders, and purchase orders efficiently
* Managing and developing assigned customer accounts
* Proactively following up on quotations to win business
* Expediting orders and resolving queries with customers and suppliers
* Handling returns and non-conformances in line with procedures
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records
* Supporting Business Development Managers
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience within a wholesale environment (essential)
* Electrical industry experience (preferred but not essential)
* A sales-driven, ambitious mindset with a proactive approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Highly organised with excellent time management
* Confident using IT systems and CRM tools
* A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
