About the role
We are seeking a creative Florist to join our team. This
role is contracted at 15 hours per week, worked over 2 days. In addition, for
six weeks annually - from the last week of November through December - the
position becomes full-time to support our busy festive season and deliver
exceptional Christmas displays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for
floral design and seasonal decorations, strong customer service and
interpersonal skills, and the ability to create stunning arrangements for a
variety of occasions.
Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is
£15,233.75 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of £15,826.55 plus a
qualified estimate of £592.80 gratuities per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and create floral arrangements for
events, retail, resort display and custom orders.
* Maintain inventory and ensure stock is properly
cared for.
* Care for all resort indoor plants.
* Advise customers on flower selection and
arrangement styles.
* Manage orders, deliveries, and ensure timely
fulfilment.
* Keep the workspace clean and organised.
* Plan, lead and install the Resorts Christmas
decorations yearly.
* Maintain and manage current stock of
decorations, ensuring storage is in good condition and stock is looked after.
* Select and purchase new decorations for
Christmas.
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a florist or in floral
design.
* Strong knowledge of flowers and plants
* Creativity and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and customer service
skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and
manage multiple demands.
* Ability to organise and manage a group of people
to deliver Resort Christmas decorations every year.
