This role will offer you a challenging but rewarding environment, involvement in Inpatient Quality Transformation and to be a part of a broader Mental Health Inpatient service.
We are a general adolescent unit offering mental health care for adolescents with serious mental health difficulties, who require hospital admission. Based inBridgwater. We provide a highly specialist service providing assessment, treatment and management of young people aged between 13 and 18 whose mental health problems cannot be managed in the community because of their complexity and risk.

As key leader, you'll have the exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the development of the system wide Eating Disorder pathway, including the delivery of a community Intensive Eating Disorders house. This will promote care in the community whilst having a clear pathway for admission to the ward where this is indicated.
Your responsibilities will include co-ordinating, delivering and maintaining a high standard of day to day clinical care for all patients on the ward, providing support to our broader Inpatient and Urgent Care services, and offering strong clinical leadership to our ward team.
Additionally, you'll maintain positive relationships with CAMHS community services and the wider South West Provider Collaborative. Plus you'll play a part in the Trust's operational on-call mental health roster.
