Job Description
Main function of the job:
(Note: In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required for the proper performance of their role).
To maintain care skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to keep practices up-to-date.
To provide leadership to the Care functions of the Agency.
To organise and co-ordinate Care services in accordance with current best practices, policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager, within the financial plans.
To organise, coordinate, and supervise the Care services within the Agency according to agreed standards.

Job Roles
Supervisory responsibilities:
To organise, co-ordinate, and supervise the deployment of Care services within the Agency, adhering to legal and contractual standards.
Main Duties (not in any order of priority)
Management of the organisation:
* Develop effective working relationships with the Registered Manager and the Office Manager.
* Support an open, positive, and inclusive management culture.
* Participate in evaluating the Agency against organisational goals and quality objectives.
* Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.
* Participate in maintaining management information systems.
* Assist in formulating and implementing Care policies and procedures.
* Assist in maintaining standards required by legislation and legal requirements.
* Act within the Agency’s budget, based on objectives and revenue projections.
* Work in a cost-effective manner.
* Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the quality assurance programme.
* Assist in evaluating Care standards and service provision.
* Solve day-to-day operational issues systematically.
Job Responsibilities
Care Coordinator Role:
Main Duties (not in any order of priority):
Management of Care Services:
* Ensure Care is delivered as per individual agreements and standards.
* Ensure staff have relevant skills, knowledge, and resources for Service Users' needs.
* Introduce staff to Service Users before or at the first visit.
* Manage travel delays and staff shortages to minimise impact on Service Users.
* Assist in developing Care philosophy, goals, and objectives.
* Assess the effectiveness of Care implementation and delivery.
* Implement actions to meet and maintain Care standards.
* Work with multidisciplinary teams to maximise therapeutic opportunities.
* Ensure Care is delivered safely and in a person-centred manner.
* Protect Service User rights.
* Encourage self-care and rehabilitation.
* Evaluate Care Plans and standards of Care competence.
* Promote the organisation's brand and develop marketing campaigns.
Professional Long Term Care Leadership:
* Encourage innovative Care delivery methods.
* Promote health within Care strategies.
* Seek personal and professional growth opportunities.
* Promote a positive image of services and employment within the Agency.
Management of Human Resources:
* Support implementation, evaluation, and induction of new employees.
* Assist staff development and compliance with standards.
* Support policy implementation and conflict resolution.
* Foster a high-quality work environment and a culture of performance and excellence.
*Working hours: 09:00 AM to 18:00 PM, Monday to Friday*
Qualifications required: QCF Diploma Level 3 (Health & Social Care)
