You’ll be paid a salary of up to £33,100 per annum and receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
* Be Responsible for Health & Safety and the Environment during shift whilst ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
* Ensure co-ordination and handover management between shifts, as well as resource availability and skilled trained resources
* Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs as well as deliver consistent service levels to exceed customer expectations
* Carry out effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments
* Be responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviour, treating employees with respect and promoting diversity, whilst supporting colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership
* Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives and ensure all internal/ external KPIs are achieved and reviewed regularly
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Operational Experience, with knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
* Excellent organisation/ time management, interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
* People management, including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes
* Excellent communicator (verbal & written) and able to interact at all levels and able to work within a team
* Ability to work without direct supervision
* Use of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word with good analytical and numerical skills
