You’ll be paid a salary of up to £33,100 per annum and receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
Take full responsibility for all Health, Safety, and Environmental matters during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance at all times
* Provide strong leadership and support to colleagues through clear communication and proactive engagement
* Deliver consistent service levels, actively striving to exceed customer expectations
* Lead, manage, and communicate effectively across all warehouse departments
* Promote and uphold a culture of excellence, positive behaviours, and accountability
* Demonstrate a “can-do” attitude to motivate and inspire team performance
* Treat all employees with respect, actively promoting diversity and inclusion
* Identify, implement, and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitor, review, and ensure achievement of all internal and external KPIs
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven operational experience within a fast-paced environment
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Strong people management experience, including conducting disciplinary investigations and managing employee relations processes
* Good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and KPIs
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation, and planning skills
* Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
* Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
