Project Administrator — Permanent — Ipswich (3 days per week in the office) — £25,000 - £35,000 DOE — 1st October 2025
About the role
As a Project Administrator within the Energy Services team, you’ll support the successful delivery of projects. Day to day you’ll assist in the co-ordination of the different product streams. You’ll be responsible for the loading and reporting of product leads and opportunities with customers. This role will keep you on your toes as you’ll need to record and respond to all customer queries within 48 hours of receipt. Where contractors are required for projects, you’ll manage the contractor works. You’ll incorporate contractor management reporting to ensure Drax delivers excellent customer service, compliance with health and safety and receives value for money from contractors. You’ll schedule internal and external meetings for customer proposals and liaise with colleagues on opportunities. And as you’re responsible for the trackers, you’ll monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that proposals are issued to customers in a consistent and timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate different product streams and load/report product leads and opportunities with customers.
* Record and respond to all customer queries within 48 hours of receipt.
* Manage contractor works where contractors are required for projects.
* Provide contractor management reporting to ensure excellent customer service, HSE compliance, and value for money from contractors.
* Schedule internal and external meetings for customer proposals; liaise with colleagues on opportunities.
* Monitor and report on project progress via trackers; ensure proposals are issued consistently and timely.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have:
* Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage your own daily priorities.
* Ability to draw on past project experience within process design and implementation to enable continuous improvement.
* Comfortable using multiple systems/online platforms including Microsoft Office.
