Health Care Assistant – Day Shifts | St. Austell (PL25) - Drivers Only
£12.50–£15.50/hr
Our client, a well-regarded residential care home in the St. Austell area, is seeking reliable and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join their dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of elderly residents while working in a warm, supportive environment.
We’re recruiting day shift Health Care Assistants, with a variety of shifts available including long days across both weekdays and weekends. This is a temporary, flexible role, and you’ll have the freedom to choose shifts based on your availability.
Your role will include:
Assisting residents with day-to-day activities
Supporting personal care needs: toileting, washing, dressing, meal times, and administering medication
Accompanying clients on appointments, shopping trips, and social outings
Providing companionship and emotional support
Helping residents feel comfortable, safe, and cared for
What we offer:
Pay rate: £12.50 – £15.50 per hour

Weekly pay
24/7 on-call support
Immediate start available (with up-to-date DBS and training)
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 months’ UK experience in the healthcare sector
Ideally, experience in elderly care
Enhanced DBS (can be processed for a one-time cost of £65)
Full UK driving licence and access to transport (preferred but not essential)
