Role Overview
Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers, providing assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East Caithness Health and Social Care Team based at Pulteney House, Wick. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care and support people after they have left hospital.
Responsibilities
* Assist patients in maintaining their independence at home.
* Support patients after hospital discharge.
* Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care.
* Use own initiative and adapt to varying service requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience not required, though beneficial.
* Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
Working Hours
This is a permanent, part‑time post of 17.27 hours, working 5.00pm to 10.00pm, 4 days on, 4 days off, or in line with service requirements.
Driving Licence & Vehicle
A driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
