Offer description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a practitioner psychologist to work in the Goole Community Mental Health Team. The post is available as either a part-time 8a role immediately, or a band 7-8a with development support, depending on experience.

Who we are looking for:

* Psychologists already working in an 8a post seeking a new challenge

About the role:

The role offers opportunities to develop clinical skills across assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation in a fast-paced environment, working with clients with diverse presentations and complex needs. There are also opportunities to supervise and consult with colleagues within and outside the psychological workforce.

Position details:

* Or a 37.5 hrs/week band 7 role initially, converting to a 30 hrs/week band 8a role upon completing a development pathway, depending on experience

Key responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to clients
* Support service developments aligned with the divisional psychological workforce strategy
* Manage a caseload of clients and support multidisciplinary colleagues with psychologically-informed care
