The Role
1. Operate street sweeping vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
3. Navigate designated routes while adhering to established schedules.
4. Perform routine maintenance tasks on sweeping equipment as needed.
5. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
Requirements
6. Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
7. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
8. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
9. Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
10. Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
11. Excellent communication skills.
12. A safety-first mindset.
