About the Role
Outsource UK is working with a leading defence client to recruit a Configuration Controller to join their UK Radar & Naval Solutions team based in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the release and change control of technical data in a high-tech, engineering-led environment.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring quality standards are met throughout the configuration lifecycle—supporting engineering teams and contributing to the development of processes that support cutting-edge maritime navigation and surveillance technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily management of release and change control processes within the ERP system (IFS Cloud Applications 11).
2. Coordinate technical data control including part structures, BoMs, drawings, documents, and software.
3. Act as a central point for ERP-controlled parts and documentation queries (change requests, deviations, revisions).
4. Develop and maintain configuration management processes and train relevant stakeholders.
5. Create and maintain ERP document metadata and configuration templates.
