Allstaff are working with a well-established manufacturing business that’s looking to recruit a skilled Production Technician to join their operations team. This role is suited to someone with hands-on experience in a fast-paced production setting and a good understanding of technical processes.
Key responsibilities:
* Set up, monitor and adjust production equipment to ensure smooth running.
* Maintain consistent output and quality by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
* Complete regular safety and quality checks in line with internal procedures.
* Support engineers on planned and reactive maintenance
* Record production data and contribute to process improvements.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
* Confident working with machinery and following technical instructions.
* A strong team player with good problem-solving skills.
* Flexible and reliable, with a focus on safety and quality.
* Able to work rotating shifts, including nights.
* Knowledge of PLC controls, Mechanical & Electrical knowledge or Injection
* Moulding would be advantageous
