About the Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, carrying out new installations, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. You will work independently, interpreting specifications and drawings to complete tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales.
You will ensure compliance with NICEIC regulations by completing the necessary documentation and submitting it promptly. The use of mobile technology, such as PDAs or similar devices, will be required for efficient work documentation and processing. Maintaining open communication with supervisors and the scheduling team will be crucial to ensure seamless operations and the timely completion of work.
A commitment to health and safety is essential, as you will be expected to identify and report hazards while conducting risk assessments. Your role may also involve mentoring apprentices and trainees, as well as participating in a call-out rota with additional pay provided.
To be considered, you should have proven experience in electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation, as well as a strong understanding of NICEIC regulations and the ability to complete relevant documentation. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an operational team is important, along with a good understanding of health and safety regulations. You should also be willing to undertake further training and stay updated with industry advancements.

This role is for 37 hours per week, but to ensure flexibility and promote an inclusive workplace part time hours or a job share agreement will be considered.
