You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions for adults with a range of rehabilitation needs. Many of our patients present with frailty, deconditioning after acute illness, and complex discharge planning requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments.
* Develop person-centred rehabilitation plans.
* Contribute to service development and maintain high clinical standards.
* Manage a caseload of patients with varying diagnoses and/or complex needs, using evidence-based and client-centred practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
* Participate in the planning, development and evaluation of clinical practice and service development within the area.
* Ensure development of staff and students through supervision, training and appraisal.
* Support the learning and development of students and staff.
* Develop enhanced clinical skills and knowledge in an area of interest linked with patient cohorts (e.g., cognition, specific clinical condition, acute rehabilitation).
* Participate in 7‑day working patterns as required.

* Identify training and development needs.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
