Offer description

Overview

We are an elective orthopaedic department, with 4 theatres, and currently in progress in expanding our department, building a fifth theatre. Exciting changes!

In March 2023, CSTM theatres got the Gold Star award Accreditation for Care & Excellence. A CQC-rated 'good' organisation with 'outstanding' features, we are working towards university hospital status, having achieved teaching hospital status in 2019. You will also have opportunities to work across sites (based on service demand) at the Nightingale Building (Halton Hospital Site) and at Warrington Hospital to support Children's Surgery and patients who require enhanced clinical support.

It will be reflected in your contract to include late weekends and night duties across all Trust sites, to ensure all essential services are covered. However, at CSTM theatres we currently only support a weekday provision.

Contracted full time hours for CSTM department are Monday-Friday:

3 x shifts 08.00-17.30

1 x shift 08.00-19.00

Please see the job description and person specification attached for further information on the role.

WHH hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship, there is a minimum set of criteria that must be met and not all roles are eligible. You can find more information on the Government website. Please review your eligibility and the eligibility of the role before submitting your application.

All applicants will be expected to possess excellent communication and team working qualities, with a willingness to learn new skills.
