About Role: As an SEN Autism Class Teacher, you will specialize in supporting children and young people on the autism spectrum. Your role is to create a structured, supportive, and nurturing learning environment tailored to meet the unique needs of autistic students, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ EHCP
* Creating a safe, predictable, and supportive classroom environment
* Collaborating closely with learning support assistants, and senior staff
* Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals
* Contributing to the school’s holistic approach to SEND, behaviour support, and wellbeing
What we are looking for:
* Aqualified teacherwith QTS relevant degree (usually a bachelor’s in education or a subject related to the one you’ll teach)
* Experience working with children with special educational needs
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and statutory frameworks
* Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
* Creativity, resilience, and a warm, empathetic teaching style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
