Job overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated musculoskeletal physiotherapists to take on enhanced level roles, to support out growing team.

This part time band 7 post would suit either an experienced Band 7 MSK physiotherapist looking to take on a new challenge or an experienced Band 6 MSK physiotherapist ready to develop their clinical, management and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Clinical Lead, ESP physiotherapists, B7s in our clinics across Havering and Barking and Dagenham, and administration & clerical team to deliver high quality patient care through innovation and service improvement. A key part of this role is providing training, support and supervision to rotational band 5 and 6 physiotherapists, students and exercise therapists. In return we will provide the post holder with training and development opportunities through an established support structure.

Probationary Period

This post will be subject to a probationary period.

Starting with Us

NELFT places great importance on new starters being properly welcomed into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend several drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 pro rata for part time).

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We would expect the post holder to have experience working as a musculoskeletal band 6 or 7 physiotherapist for a minimum of 2 years with experience in musculoskeletal outpatients, triage and orthopaedics. You will be able to demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning and up-to-date CPD.

The post will be based in Havering however the post-holder may be required to work at clinics across our Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge sites with possibility of some remote work from home.
