A large manufacturingpany based in Hull is recruiting an Accountant. Flexible working hours are available as well as apetitive salary and benefits.
The ideal candidate will either be part or fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), have a manufacturing background and be skilled with cashflow and month-end reporting.
The main responsibilities include:
1. Produce Management Information reports including, but not limited to; revenue, CAPEX, fixed costs, variable costs for Actuals, Forecast and Budget
2. Prepare clear and concisementary to explain month-end variances for the Controller to include in the submission to the Central team.
3. Lead the cash flow management and forecasting for the business, working with the Controller, Business Manager and various other stakeholders.
4. Provide in depth cash flowmentary on weekly variances to ensure efficient cash management
5. Responsible for expense postings, ie accruals, logistics costs, inventory and lease journals.
6. Raise intepany invoices for services and interest charges to support monthly closing.
7. Perform general ledger reconciliation on a monthly basis, clearing reconciling items timely.
8. Ensure intepany balances and transactions are resolved timely with counterparties.
9. Support statistical andpliance reporting to localernment/authorities.
10. Provide and improve reports to support management information and performance reporting as required by the business stakeholders and business finance team.
11. Assist with the statutory reports, annual audit and tax package reports for the ETAC business. Support other month-end closing related activities in response to the business/organisation/process change, including activities performed by the Controller in their absence.
12. Prepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat data for IMHL and IEAG by monthly deadlines.
13. Administer and post leases using the Nakisa software in-line with IFRS 16 for IMHL and IEAG.
14. Upload monthly financials to the group reporting tool (Hyperion) and reconcile any intepany balances.
