Job Title: Incident Manager - Barclays JOC
Purpose of the Role:
To protect Barclays operations by reducing preventable incidents and mitigating incident impacts. Based within the Joint Operations Centre (JOC) in London, the Incident Manager will oversee the ISS operational teams' response to incidents that could impact Barclays financially, legally, or reputationally.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage major incidents to ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
2. Conduct detailed shift handovers and manage incident calls.
3. Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, including impact assessments, actions, and recovery plans.
4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle.
5. Record incidents on the designated platform and track progress.
6. Support continuous improvement by analyzing incident data and trends.
Shift and Working Conditions:
* Work on a 24/7 shift pattern, including 12-hour day and night shifts, in the office.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience as an Incident Manager is desirable.
* Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
* Experience in high-pressure environments with multiple priorities.
* Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proactive, resilient, and team-oriented mindset.
* Fluent in English.
