Role: Temporary Legal Secretary Location: Caversham - Fully Office Based Salary: £16ph Duration: 27th June 2025 to 4th July 2025 Hours: 9 to 5:30pm About the role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to join our client's Private Client team, providing dedicated support to a solicitor and assisting with in-office operations. This is a varied and hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, common sense, and a strong understanding of probate and private client matters. Key Responsibilities: Document Management Open and process all incoming post each morning. Scan and save documents into the Redbrick case management system. Email scanned documents to the remote solicitor promptly. Scan and forward documents dropped off by clients. Client Interaction Greet clients who visit the office and take detailed enquiries. Handle incoming phone calls and take accurate messages. Provide initial information and reassurance to clients where appropriate. Administrative Support Book appointments for the in-office solicitor handling wills and powers of attorney. Manage and maintain the solicitor's diary using the computer system.
