The Team
You'll join a Research team focused on building the most advanced conversational AI agents in the market - systems that understand context, respond with genuine empathy, and resolve complex issues with precision.
The Role
We're looking for an AI/ML Research Engineer to build AI systems capable of previously impossible tasks or unprecedented performance levels. You'll design and implement state-of-the-art methods for instruction tuning and information retrieval, writing production-quality ML code and shaping the science behind the company's core AI agents.
Responsibilities
1. Develop models for customer support tasks that outperform closed-source alternatives
2. Experiment with small open-source models to drive significant latency reductions
3. Break down ambiguous research ideas into clear, iterative milestones
Requirements
4. 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or research
5. Proven track record delivering AI/ML projects from concept to production
6. Hands-on experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs in production
7. Prior experience with multi-modal models
