Are you an experienced English Teacher looking for a new opportunity in education? We have an exciting position available to join a brilliant English Department at a highly regarded secondary school in Norwich. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. Experience teaching A Level English Literature would be preferable but is not essential. If you can offer a second subject at KS3, particularly History, that would be a significant advantage. We are looking for someone who is passionate about educating and ready to make a positive impact.
What will you be doing?
4. Deliver high-quality English lessons to students across various year groups.
5. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
6. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
8. Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and school events.
9. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirments:
10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. (ECT Level are welcome to apply)
11. Experience teaching English, preferably including A Level English Literature.
12. Ability to teach a second subject at KS3, ideally History.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Passionate about education and committed to student success.
15. Organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
