Building Surveyor - Damp and Mould (Career Grade)
Join our team at Warwick District Council as a Building Surveyor specialising in Damp and Mould, working in the Housing department on a permanent basis.
Salary: G-D: £26,824 to £46,142 per annum
Employment type: Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week
Location: Warwick district; primarily working from home with required attendance at offices or sites.
Responsibilities
* Specify and manage works to the Council’s housing stock and provide aids and adaptations for tenants.
* Work on corporate and commercial premises, including buildings in conservation areas and of regional or national importance.
* Engage with fire safety measures and HHSRS risk identification and solution implementation.
* Support the Climate Emergency priorities by ensuring buildings are energy efficient and tenant homes are warm and safe.
* Operate on an agile basis, delivering projects on site or remotely, with hybrid working arrangements available.
* Attend meetings at Warwick district offices as required, with travel from home covered by the employee.
