Avon and Somerset Police are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to become part of our Site Facilities team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Facilities Officers to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of our premises, grounds, vehicle fleet, and equipment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with day-to-day facilities operations, helping to maintain high standards across our sites, and coordinating the delivery and collection of goods and equipment between force locations and other destinations as required. In this role your main responsibilities will be: Assisting with office moves including the removal and storage of furniture. Driving to and from force locations, occasionally driving outside of the force area Undertaking vehicle maintenance Monitor and respond to verbal and IT based demand for services, operating and maintaining both electronic and manual record systems Qualifications & experience needed: Hold a full current driving licence-Due to the requirement to drive all our police vehicles you must be over 21 years of age. Ability to act on own initiative with minimum supervision The post holder will have previous experience in a similar environment.
