WRC Recycling is a family-run business based in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire, committed to Scotland’s circular economy. We offer bespoke, customer-focused waste solutions across Central Scotland, with customer service at the heart of operations. We are growing and seeking a Key Account Manager to manage a portfolio of large accounts, develop new business in the commercial sector, and drive WRC’s sales strategy.
This is a full-time, permanent role. With a second state-of-the-art Recycling facility under construction, this is an exciting time to join WRC Recycling ahead of a major expansion.
Role Description
* Actively generate new business leads across an array of sectors
* Manage prospect lists and coordinate with the new business team to mobilise key contracts
* Collaborate with the Sales team to drive the Sales strategy forward
* Account manage a portfolio of commercial customers ensuring service success
* Lead quarterly, bi-annual, and annual contract review meetings
* Drive revenue growth within accounts
* Provide prompt, well-informed resolution solutions to a customer portfolio
* Book on jobs and take payments when required
* Be the primary interface between WRC Recycling and the commercial market
* Actively listen and provide customers with the best waste management solutions
* Reach company and personal sales targets
* Gather market information and opportunities
* Provide accurate calculations and quotes to customers
* Close sales successfully
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
* Proven track record of consistently meeting targets
* Experience managing large accounts
* Waste or construction industry experience is preferred
* A strong commercial background and awareness
* The ability to build and maintain professional relationships
* Robust and resilient
* Strong communication skills – verbal and written
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook)
