Are you an experienced and dedicated **Level 3** childcare professional looking for the next step in your career? Our well-established nursery in Egham is seeking a passionate **Deputy Manager** to join our leadership team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a **Nursery Practitioner** with leadership aspirations to play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding care and education. You will work hand-in-hand with the **Manager** to ensure the smooth running of our setting and provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support the **Manager** in the day-to-day operational leadership of the nursery.
* Provide high-quality care and lead educational activities in line with the **Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)**.
* Act as a designated **Deputy Manager**, taking full charge of the setting in the **Manager**'s absence.
* Conduct medication rounds, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed meticulously.
* Mentor and support a team of practitioners, promoting best practice in **child care**.

**Essential Requirements:**
* **Minimum Level 3 qualification** in Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent **child care** qualification.
* **A minimum of three years' experience** in a **Deputy Manager** role within a nursery setting.
* Proven experience and competence in administering and managing **medication rounds**.
* **Excellent working knowledge** of the **Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)** and current **Ofsted** frameworks.
* Confident and capable to **work without supervision** and use initiative during day shifts.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team.
