Hays Education is expanding its provision across South Warwickshire, and we are seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support both specialist SEND schools and mainstream settings. With increasing demand for high‑quality SEN support, we are particularly looking to connect with candidates interested in opportunities in the Stratford‑upon‑Avon area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs and wants to develop their experience within a range of settings.
Your new role
1. Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with a variety of SEN needs
2. Assist withmunication, sensory regulation and behaviour support
3. Encourage independence and engagement in learning
4. Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH andplex learning needs
5. Assist with personal care where required
6. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored interventions.
7. Help create a calm, inclusive and structured learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
8. Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (school, care, youth work or similar)
9. A calm, patient and resilient approach
10. Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
11. Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
12. Someone reliable, proactive andmitted to pupil progress
13. A genuine passion for SEND education
