Facilities and Workspace Manager - London
Facilities and Workplace Manager, London (SE1). Up to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing
* Overseeing the end-to-end management of the office environment, ensuring it is safe, welcoming, and efficient.
* Hard services: managing maintenance, statutory compliance, and building operations, ensuring processes, policies, and legislation are followed.
* Cleaning: daily upkeep, hygiene standards, and supplier coordination.
* Guest & customer services: reception, front-of-house experience, and meeting room management.
* Office administration: supplies, post and general support for day-to-day office activities.
* Contract management: manage hard and soft facilities management contracts, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
* Operational excellence: lead the daily operations of hard and soft FM to deliver high-quality standards, safety, and customer satisfaction.
* Stakeholder engagement: build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure alignment and collaboration.
* Team leadership: lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Risk management: identify and mitigate risks related to service delivery, compliance, and financial performance, ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors.
You’ll thrive in this role if you
* Have a solid management background in facilities and workplace management within a corporate environment.
* Are confident managing hard and soft service contracts and supplier relationships.
* Understand compliance requirements, health and safety obligations, and building regulations, particularly relating to hard services.
* Take pride in creating a safe, positive, and productive workplace for colleagues and clients.
* Are highly organised, solutions-focused, and good with people at all levels.
