What's involved with this role: Interim Multi Trade Plumber Reference no: K&C 5246882 Pay rate: £22.36 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37.5 Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 This opening assignment is for 3 months City: KENSINGTON, London Basic DBS required for this role A qualified Plumber with Social Housing experience is required to join the team. Van and fuel card supplied. To carry out any repairs and remedy any defects to the council owned housing stock as instructed by Managers and Supervisors. Works will be carried out to the required standard, working to health and safety legislation whilst providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities: Carry out multi trade work to a high standard as directed by the Repairs and Voids Manger/ supervisors. Comply with and British Standards, manufacturers requirements, specifications, legislation, policy and procedure. Collect the necessary materials from Stores to enable works to be carried out in a single visit. Inform supervisor where necessary materials are required for works to be carried out in a single visit. Delivery duties in the most environmentally friendly and efficient way possible to ensure a sustainable and reduced carbon emission service, Ensure all work is carried out safely, in accordance with the code of conduct with respect to residents and their homes whenever working in or outside of the property. Carry out works to the requirements and obligations to the Health and Safety at work Act and all specific Health and Safety polices required by the Council. Wear appropriate clothing, ID, uniform and PPE for specific tasks. Offer an excellent level of customer service - be respectful, positive, polite, on time and listen to the needs of residents. Maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times by the use of dust sheets and/or boot covers and leave properties and a clean, compliant and safe condition.
