JobDescription:
* Performsrepetitive mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precisedexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assemblywork.
CoreResponsibilities and Tasks:
* Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplacesafety and product quality.
* Successfullycompletes all sitespecific training regarding safety andquality.
* Receives components or items forassembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
* Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electricalcomponents by means of sensitive hand and equipmentcoordination.
* May assemble minor variations ofinhouse standard products.
* Follows clearassembly/test instructions e.g. color code pvc thermal welding andthread taping.
* Uses simple hand or power toolsalong with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
* Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP) ifapplicable to site.
* Completes requireddocumentation related to production.
* Drivescontinuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5Saudits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
* Reads and understands simple layout and assemblydrawings.
* Maintains equipment and area inclean safe condition.
* Take care of internaland external customer needs and expectations.
Position RequirementsFormal EducationRequired:
* High SchoolDiploma or GED.
Knowledge& Experience Required:
* Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience highschool/tech school coursework hobbies etc.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to sit stand hear and see on aconstant basis. Must be able to walk write and type on a frequentbasis.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50pounds.
* Must be able to climb and descendstairs.
* Must be able to bend carry reach pushand pull on an occasional basis.
* Must be ableto communicate verbally and in writing.
* Maywork in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection isrequired.
* May be exposed to varying amounts ofdust and dirt.
* Work surfaces may includeconcrete.
* Employees must be able to operate acomputer and communicate via telephone.
