A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Chatham, VA. This contract position spans the full academic school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
* Monitor and document student performance and communicate outcomes with stakeholders
* Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting
Qualifications:
* Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
* Experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels (K-12)
* Strong knowledge of speech and language development and educational therapy techniques
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
