Join a well‑established food manufacturing site undergoing a significant period of change.
Overview
Part of a very successful multi‑site food business, the Worcester site produces high‑risk products for the major retailers.
This is a newly created Technical Services Manager role following a site restructure, offering a genuine chance to reset standards and leave a lasting impact.
The Role
The successful Technical Services Manager will:
* Take ownership of the site Technical Services function during a period of transition.
* Lead and modernise the site QMS, bringing documentation and systems up to current standards.
* Address legacy issues across BRC documentation and site compliance.
* Act as a stabilising and driving force for Technical Services, setting clear standards and expectations.
* Lead and develop a small Technical Services team, including Specification Technologists and a Quality Systems Coordinator.
* Work closely with site leadership to support retailer relationships and future growth.
The Candidate
The successful Technical Services Manager will have:
* Experience in a Technical or Quality leadership role within food manufacturing.
* A strong grounding in BRC, QMS management and audit readiness.
* The resilience and pragmatism to operate in a challenging, legacy environment.
* A hands‑on, solutions‑focused mindset with a willingness to lead from the front.
