Stonebridge a 27-hole golf course with driving range and practice facilities and is looking for a Greenkeeper to join our team working flexible hours with the hours available dependant on the season.
Candidates will have previous green keeping experience and ideally have NVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping, but this is not essential if you have previous experience.
The candidate will be required to assist in presenting the course to standard and continue the ongoing improvement of the golf course.
The job role includes, but not limited to:
Mowing all fine turf areas, ecology work, raking bunkers, strimming, tractor driving, maintenance of equipment and much more.
Qualifications and on the job training can be provided to the right candidate.
This can be a physically demanding role predominately based outside that will require the candidate to be capable of carrying out such tasks.
Hours of work are 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday with shifts starting at 5:30am and finishing at 2pm with 30-minute break. There is also a shift of Saturday and Sunday for 3 hours each day every 3rd weekend.
Occasionally overtime in the week is available during the mowing season.
The role will initially offer pay based on an hourly wage.
Due to the start time it is preferred if the candidate has their own transport to commute to the role.
