Teaching Assistant Location: Richmond Position: Teaching Assistant Start date: ASAP Pay: £1700 - £2100 per month Temp to PermA primary school based in Richmond are looking for a teaching assistant to join a KS1 classroom as soon as possible with the view to go permanent before the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will be joining the schools established SEN department to assist a student with mild ASD in a 1:1 role. Your main responsbility will be to enhance the pupils learning either individually away from the class in sensory rooms and quiet areas of the school or as a group. The school is a lovely modern building that was recently renevated during the pandemic and has great facilities to assist SEN students. This year they are almost at full capacity with 2 classrooms per year group ranging from EYFS up to Year 6. You will be joining a school that focuses on a set of shared values that help the students to work co-operatively and with respect.
