We offer continuous professional development to all our carers, helping you grow and build a long-term career in care.Job Overview We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to service users in Norwich and surrounding areas.You will be supporting individuals with complex clinical needs, including:Jejunostomy (J-tube) care and feedingNon-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) supportDiabetes management (including blood glucose monitoring)Epilepsy and seizure managementThis role is ideal for someone with strong experience in complex clinical care who is passionate about improving the quality of life for others.You will work on a full-time rota provided 3 months in advance, with both day and night shifts available.Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and supportAssist with daily living tasks (personal care, bathing, dressing, mobility)Administer medication and monitor health conditions in line with care plansProvide care for jejunostomy feeding and site managementSupport individuals using NIV equipmentMonitor and manage diabetes, including blood glucose checksRecognise and respond appropriately to epileptic seizuresProvide manual handling and hoist supportCarry out or assist with clinical tasks such as suctioning (where trained)Promote independence, dignity, and choiceProvide companionship and emotional supportTransport service users to appointments or activities where requiredMaintain accurate records and follow care plans and risk assessmentsEssential Requirements Minimum 6 months UK care experienceProven experience in complex care, including: Jejunostomy careNIV supportDiabetes managementEpilepsy/seizure managementMedication administration and manual handlingOliver McGowan Mandatory Training (required)Strong understanding of person-centred careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm in challenging or emergency situationsRight to work in the UKDesirable Skills Experience with suctioningKnowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social CareValid UK driving licenceBasic First Aid trainingImportant Information No sponsorship is available for this roleTraining and ongoing professional development will be providedOpportunities for career progression within the companyWhat We Offer Weekly payFlexible working patterns (days and nights available)Ongoing training and developmentSupportive team environmentLong-term career opportunities in careHow to Apply Please submit your CV along with a short cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.TPBN1_UKTJ
